Before treatment

At-home care
- Do not massage or press the lips on day one unless specifically instructed.
- Keep the area clean; postpone intense exercise, sauna and strong heat for at least the first day.
- Use only recommended care and attend your scheduled review.
Possible reactions
Mild swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising may last from several days to a few weeks.
When to seek help
Unusual or escalating pain, vision changes, sudden white/grey-blue skin colour, or facial/limb weakness require immediate medical care.
